The Oshawa Branch of the Navy League of Canada supports our exceptional cadet programs for youth aged 9 to 18. Our programs, NLCC Hawkins and RCSCC Sir Francis Drake, focus on leadership, teamwork, and naval traditions in a supportive and challenging environment. We are committed to developing responsible and capable citizens through engaging activities and community involvement.
NLCC Hawkins
The Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC) Hawkins is a free program for youth aged 9 to 12. Cadets engage in fun and educational activities, learning leadership, physical fitness, seamanship, drill, and band, in an introductory setting.
RCSCC Sir Francis Drake
The Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps (RCSCC) Sir Francis Drake is a free program for youth aged 12 to 18. This program offers advanced training in leadership, citizenship, and seamanship, with opportunities for sailing, marksmanship, band, and community service.

Thursdays 6:15-8:45pm: NLCC Hawkins
Registration fee: $0. Cadets is an entirely free program!

The Navy League of Canada is a non-profit volunteer lead organization that supports youth education and leadership programs as well as promotes the maritime interests of Canada. Active in communities throughout the nation with partners across industry, together we work to support young Canadians via positive citizenship initiatives that reinforce the value of the navy and our service members.
